Improving the capacity of faculties and divisions' leaders at Hanoi Open University
On the morning of February 7th 2018, Hanoi Open University cooperated with the Institute of Educational Management to organize the Training course for managers of faculties, departments of universities and colleges.
Speaking to open the course, Dr. Truong Tien Tung – the President affirmed that Hanoi Open University always considers the staffs and employees in general, faculties and divisions’ leaders in particular are important factors to determine the sustainable development of the university. On behalf of the university's leaders, Dr. Truong Tien Tung committed to accompanying and creating favorable conditions for each employee and staff to improve their abilities and qualifications for development of Hanoi Open University.

He also entrusted the course participants with the task of assuring the spirit of studying seriously and researching the knowledge to be applied to the practice of management at Hanoi Open University.

On behalf of the 45 participants, Mr. Ngo Thanh Tung expressed his gratitude to the two university for organizing the course so that the staff of Hanoi Open University could have the opportunity to improve their management capacity. He expresses his wish that in the coming time, the leaders of Hanoi Open University will continue to create opportunities for self-development for all employees of the university.
Le Thi Loan, MA. is lecturing
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the participants of the class participated in the first lesson "School Culture" with the guidance of Le Thi Loan, MA. – the lecturer of the Institute of Education Management. The course will last from February to April 2018 in order to foster and develop basic knowledge and skills in management of universities and colleges and develop the capacity of managers in leadership and management of colleges and universities.
